Make A Nokia Usb Charger

Here are the following steps to make a simple usb charger of Nokia yourself.

Nokia chargers, like most other chargers, are nothing but 5VDC adapters without any intelligence. The Phone handles all charging functions using this 5VDC supply.

Things Required :-

> USB Cable:- A Usb cable which u don't need. U just to have its Usb Connecting side to connect it to any laptop or desktop. Another End can be discarded.

> A Nokia Charger or Connector:- Charging Pin or connecting Pin of the required Phone Is needed.

For Example:

> Wire Stripper/Cutter Tool.

> Insulation Tape.

 Steps:-

1. Cut the USB cable to desired length.

2. There would be four wires inside the cable.
Red, White , Green And Black.

You need Red and Black wires. So Open the insulation of these wires.

3.  Cut the charger adapter cable near its female end. This adapter cable is usually
shorter in length so cut near unwanted connector to get maximum length.

4.  Uninsulate these wires. Connect one to Red one and Other to Black One.

5.  Now connect the usb end to USB of PC and other to mobile and see whether its
     working or not.
If not then interchange the connections and then again see.

6. If it works then insulate the connections with insulation tape to avoid shorting.

Enjoy your New USB Charger...... :)
